Best boot I’ve found…,
…in around 40 years of riding. Since I appear prone to supination, the heels of these boots will only last me around a year before they’ve wore around 3/8″ off the outside edge. Your mileage will vary depending on how straight (and how much) you walk in them I guess (I’ve considered DIY heel repair!). The main reason I’m even writing this review is that a former reviewer complained these boots are stiff. After owning around 6 pairs, I can say that’s never been a problem I’ve had with any of mine. Absolutely no break-in period. And even if you wear them every day they don’t end up stinking. FWIW, I’ve never noticed them mark a floor either.

|Faded Glory,
I haven’t had these boots long. I bought them near the end of the riding season in PA a few weeks ago. These boots kept my feet warm in 60 degree weather. I haven’t ridden in anything but sunshine or nightfall, no rain or snow. THey were comfortable for being new and I’m very satisfied with the purchase.

|An Important Piece of Equipment,
I purchased these boots via Amazon during a giant Labor Day sale for better than half price. The boots are very well made with high quality leather and stitching. The fit is comfortable yet they also provide excellent stability with riding and stopping. I would recommend these boots highly. Now that I have actually worn them for a few hundred miles, I wouldn’t think of going for a ride without them.
